OPTN/UNOS Webinar: Kidney Allocation System Town Hall Q&A
October 23, 2014 from 10:00pm to 11:15pm EDT
Web Activity
USThe new kidney allocation system (KAS) begins December 4, 2014. As a follow-up to resources that have been provided to the community in preparation for implementation of the new kidney allocation system, a question and answer session with a panel of subject matter experts will be offered to provide a venue for members to ask questions and to facilitate discussion for better understanding.
To register for the town hall, visit https://attendee.gotowebinar.com/register/4844049467257135617.
This town hall is an opportunity for the transplant community to ask questions and address key topics of the new KAS before implementation. We will answer some top KAS questions, as well as open up the town hall to electronic and phone line questions from the audience. Preparing transplant centers, organ procurement organizations, histocompatibility labs and kidney patients for the change to the system is key to a successful implementation. We have gathered various expert panelists from the transplant community in order to provide an interactive and productive town hall.
