Education and Clinical Tools for the Independent Living Donor Advocate

This nine-part webinar series is targeted to Independent Living Donor Advocates (ILDAs) and transplant managers, but many transplant professionals will find this information valuable given the documented differences in practice, confusion about regulatory requirements, and dearth of available training materials.

Is this Series for Me?

  • Beginner and novice ILDAs of any discipline including nurses, social workers, physicians, chaplains, and outside consultants and lay volunteers
  • Seasoned ILDAs
  • Transplant managers

What Will I Learn?
By participating in this webinar series, you will be able to:

  • Understand the ILDA role and regulatory requirements
  • Build a bedrock of knowledge about transplantation, living donation, and the surrounding ethics
  • Describe the specifics of ILDA role implementation and compliance
  •  Assess the challenges of donor care

How Do I Register?
AST members and their ILDAs can participate free of charge by registering for the series through the AST member’s account. Non-members of AST can purchase access to all nine webinars for just $200 (less than $25 per webinar). Registration includes access to the live webinars as well as the archived content after each webinar, so you can register at any time, even if some webinars have already taken place.

If you are a transplant professional without a doctoral degree, you can join AST as a member for only $90 annually. This may be of interest as a way to access the webinars as part of your AST member benefits. See if you are eligible to join AST here.

During the checkout process, the fee is removed when you log in with an AST member username and password. Non-members will create a new account during checkout, and pay the fee.
