William Applegate and Chris Rorick

Applegate and Rorick have effectively built, mobilized, managed, and grown strategic federal and state government affairs programs for more than two and a half decades. Their bipartisan and bicameral approach on behalf of the AST has affected change at all levels of regulatory, legislative, and executive branch policy-making impacting the field of solid organ transplantation.

The government relations duo previously worked on Capitol Hill in the U.S. Senate, U.S. House of Representatives, within State Capitols, and as in-house Directors of Government Affairs programs for prominent national healthcare associations.

Applegate and Rorick have served as the AST "eyes, ears, and boots on the ground" among national and state policy makers for the better part of two decades; when necessary, they engage additional seasoned advocacy professionals and resources from their national government affairs team in Wash, DC and throughout more than two dozen offices around the country.
