Dr. Vikas Dharnidharka is Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Florida and Medical Director of the Pediatric Kidney Transplant Program at Shands Hospital. In this podcast, Dr. Dharnidharka discusses the influence of organ failure on growth and development, treatment strategies for maximizing growth in the presence of organ failure, and the effects of organ transplantation on growth and development.
